i have two ultra tall dutch guys in my spanish class. when the teacher first alerted us to the idea that we had to make food from our country, they protested that there was no typical dutch food !!!
I cried "frites, poffetjes, pepperkake, waffletjes, cheese, mayonaise ... "
they're so lazy. they tried to tell me frites were British. in the end they made some Pannekoeken. some with kaas and some without. it was all in all a disappointing effort by the dutch.
