No need for a permit. (Or better said, I did not ask anyone ) That's why I gave the neighbours the first pizza I baked in it :) As for the energy generation, of course you receive and concentrate solar energy. There is only the slight problem in converting that into a useful form of energy, such as electricity. That will be the next step.
