Down and out in Paris and Meers

some more impressions from Paris.
Carla lives in the hert of town, just around the corner from the Folies Bergere (only the most famous theater in the world carla!) You know where the painter toulouse Lautrec plied his trade
(In turn made famous by Peter Sellers in the pink panther films) But I digress again.
I told you about the run in with the cheese lady (Incessant talking on mobile while studiously avoiding all eye contact wif potential customers!)
we had a memorable meal (accompinied by copious quantities of excellent french wine)
at the lanlord's friends house This guy by the way comes complete wif existensial crisis !(How very french, nést pas?) and smokes like a chimney as does the landlord.
Had lunch in a local eatery and upon perusing the blackboard the waiter explained to me that it said steak and smashed potatoes? i mean , how can you refuse an offer like that/
the weather so far has been fantastic 27~~28 degrees .
It is still very green , however some leaves are starting to discolour for autumn.
In a way this is a very beautiful time of the year here
