Doc Marten's dorp

yes folks , this is the quaint cornish village where Doc martin is shot.

The village is actually called Port Isaac , well worth a visit , as is the whole of Cornwell in our opinion.

2 Tourists and a celebrity chef

Well, just to show that we have done it , yes, even we made the pilgrimage to Padstein (Padstow) for the uninitiated.
Admittedly we did enjoy the vis and frites as well as the marinated fresh sardines and a bottle of bubbles (Thanks Trish)

Hi Pilgrim , can you give me a lift ?

Pilgrim #1: "Dude... want to come and found a country with me. Bring a turkey, some cranberries and a T-shirt that says I♥NY. Trust me, it'll be awesome in about 300 years?"

Pilgrim #2: "We can call it the 'Land-where-you-can-make-money-and-raise-a-family-and-then-shoot-them-with-a-gun'."

Pilgrim #1: "How bout 'Land of Opportunity'. It sounds better to tourists."

This is the point from where the first Eurotrash departed for the fair shores of the part of the world that would later become the mighty US of A.

Our faithful companion

Claudia in the reliable Volksie, observe the great weather we enjoyed and the relatively quiet roads we could use.
